Elegance on the plate
To achieve a whiff of elegance use a motif of gold-plated roses cut out from softpaper.
The making of a plate:
1 Paint the base with white acrylic
paint. Give it two coats. While it is left to dry, carefully cut
out the motif.
2 Wet the motif to get rid of
stiffness. Place it on the palm of your hand and spread the
decoupage glue on the inside using a soft brush.
3 Place it on the base. Go with the
brush over the upper side of the motif once again. Use a gold
liner to write down a message (Merry Christmas, Just married,
etc.).
