Paper Christmas tree with Marabu Dot Pen
Quick DIY decoration for a Christmas look.
Small trees made of colorful clay paper are a quick DIY decoration that will instantly give any spot a Christmas look. And with white Dot Pen dots the little trees look even cuter.
How it is done:
1 First, mark the shapes on the clay paper with compass & ruler. The fuller the drawn circle, the flatter the slope of the cone will be later. Then cut out the shapes.
2 In the next step, decorate the cardboard shapes with the Dot Pen in white with individual dots in different sizes. To do this, first tap the paint down in the Dot Pen (with the lid closed). Then test the paint application on a piece of paper first. The size of the dots can be varied by the amount of paint applied. Do not apply dots to the straight sides of the cardboard shape and leave the edge free. Then let dry lying down for 72 hours.
3 Once the paint has dried, the shapes can be rolled into small cone-shaped trees and fixed in place with multipurpose glue.
