Softpaper Angels
Cut out motifs from softpaper and place them on greeting cards, bubles or plates.
For the plate you need:
- a glass plate
- softpaper "Happy Christmas"
- decoupage glue
- white Decormatt
- decoupage polish
For the bauble:
- a plastic bauble 6 cm
- softpaper "Happy Christmas"
- white styrofoam or cardboard, 2 mm thickness
- decoupage glue
- cotton wool
For the greeting card:
- a greeting card with envelope
- softpaper "Happy Christmas"
- a decorative ribbon
THE PLATE
1 Cut out the motif from the paper.
Dip the paper lightly in water and then leave it to dry on a
paper towel.
2 Spread decoupage glue on the bottom
of the plate and glue the motif so that the right side touches
the glass. Spread the glue once again. Leave it to dry well.
3 Give the plate a few coats of white acrylic paint. When paint is dry, give the bottom of the plate a few coats of decoupage varnish. Your plate is thus washable.
THE
BAUBLE
1 Cut out a motif from softpaper and
glue it to the styrofoam surface.
2 Take the wider side of the bauble
and outline it carefully around the motif.
3 Place the circle with the motif in
the other half of the bauble. It should fit if carefully cut.
Glue little cotton wool on the bottom and then close the bauble.
THE GREETING CARD
1 Cut out the motif from softpaper.
Glue it onto the white cardboard or felt, and then cut it out
with zig-zag scissors.
2 Glue it all on the cord. Add a
decorative ribbon.
