Window angel

Let the gentle angel figure look after your dear ones. It will also look great as a Christmas decoration.

You will need:

2 sheets of white felt
1 sheet of cream felt
1 sheet of red felt
1 cotton wool bauble size 4 cm
1 white fluffy wire
thin red and checked ribbon
some brown wool for hair
a stick for grilling
glue

1 Cut from paper the parts shown in the picture. Place them on felt and then cut out each part twice. Cut out hands and feet from cream felt. Use sewing machine or hands to join the edges so that stitches are visible while leaving a few centimeters undone.

2 Fill the opening - the undone bit with cotton wool and sew it completely.

3 Fill the hands and legs in the same way. Before sewing the sleeves, push the hands inside the sleeves. Decorate the hem of the sleeves with a ribbon.

4 Make a loop of fluffy wire for aureole and glue it to the wings. Glue the sleeves over it.

5 Push the stick for grilling through the sleeve. Put on the cape, draw it and glue it on the stick next to the sleeve.

6 Draw eyes and mouth. Glue the loop on the top of the head and the woollen hair as well.

7 Glue the legs at the end of the stick.

8 If you wish, make a small felt heart and glue it on the hands.

Hang it on the window or a wardrobe door.
