Christmas Cookies
Sweet decoration as a great Christmas present!
What you need to make these delicious cookies for children kitchen or a great Christmas present for a friend is a basic sewing skill.
Material and tools:
- felt in beige, brown and rose shades
- tiny rocailles beads in different shades
- bugle beads
1 Cut two circles in the same shade for each cookie. To make a heart cookie, fold the upper circle in half and cut out a heart. Cut out a smaller rose circle with wavy edge for the icing.
2 Cut other shapes you want, but always double.
3 The rose "icing" and the heart of marmelade sew with sewing machine (or by hand).
4 Use a thin needle to sew round rocailles and bugle beads onto the "icing" and other decorations on other cookies (bits of chocolate, sugar ribbons, etc.).
5 Join the upper and bottom circles with a simple stitch (the same as for blankets). Leave a bit undone to...
6 ...fill the cookies with cotton wool and then sew it completely.
