Little finger dolls

Boredom during holidays? Forget it, have a puppet show!

Make up a story, use felt to make your characters.

Material and tools:

felt in different colours
bits and pieces of colourful cloth
needle and coloured cotton thread
glue
mobile plastic eyes (we offer a wide choice of sizes and shapes in our shop)

Instructions:

Fold the felt in half. Place your finger on it, and then outline it. Cut out the outline and sew the edges with the simplest stitch. Cut out another circle for the head, a smaller one for nose, ears and eyes. You can add decorations for the body, like paws or pockets. You can create any character in this way.

You should involve your children to create the characters. Make each character in the same way: first a body for your finger, then parts for the head and glue the eyes in the end. If you don't have plastic eyes, cut them out from black and white felt.
