FIMO houses
Decorate your table with cheerful spring bird houses made from FIMO.
You will need:
FIMO in various shades, varnish for FIMO, mould, wooden sticks, straw, decorative ribbon, Decorlack acrylic paint (for the stick).
Instructions:
1 Roll flat FIMO. Use one bar to mould a square or any other shape for the house. It is important to have sloping sides for the roof. To get smooth flat surface use glass or plastic tile or block.
2 Mould a cube in different shade for the base and one flat sheet for the roof. Use the rest to make dots, little hearts of flowers to decorate the house. Put it on a stick (thus you can bake it). Don't forget to put a hole for the base.
3 Use a straw to make reliefs on the roof. Put it in the oven, heated at 110°C and bake it for 20 minutes. When it is cooled polish it with FIMO glossy varnish.
